Do I need a permit for a dumpster?
If the dumpster is placed on your private property (like your driveway), no permit is typically required. If you need it placed on a public street, you may need a permit from Lee County or your city. We can help guide you through this process if needed.
What can I put in the dumpster?
Most household items, construction debris, furniture, appliances (with freon removed), yard waste, and general junk. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, paint, chemicals, tires, batteries, and asbestos. Not sure about something specific? Just give us a call.

For most of Lee County, there's no additional trip fee. However, deliveries to Sanibel and some remote locations may have a trip fee due to the distance involved. We'll always let you know about any additional fees upfront before you book.
What if I go over the weight limit?
If your load exceeds the included weight allowance, there will be an additional charge per ton for the overage. We'll weigh the dumpster at the disposal facility and let you know if there's any additional cost. For heavy materials like concrete or roofing shingles, we recommend discussing your project with us first so we can advise on the best option.
